FIGURATIONS DE LA MIRADA

Under the title "figurations of the eye", this exhibition features the last work of Juan Antonio Gonzalez, who during the past year has made with this exhibition as a driver and horizon of their work. Hence, of course, that consistency of the parts does, beyond the mere juxtaposition of individual works, making the set a unique work that exposes the real work.

In it, the painter, recognizable even in their choices chromatic forces us to a new view on what is already known to him as a further twist, in keeping with what we saw coming in the final samples, "the figurative - which hardly resignation of all-is now more remote than ever, more subtly suggested that ever touching your paint abstraction, and stood, and therefore the very essence of painting as such: color composition especially slick stylized line drawings rather than actual.

Never have so far Juan Antonio Gonzalez, figuration without giving it up. And is that its not so figurative eye and the gaze, as we do not about what he sees as soon as it looks. And we know if they are mostly eyes, the look on all sets.
